2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Brand: | Model: | Year:
The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer features revised styling, a simplified model lineup, and the addition of a new Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) powertrain option. The “Wagoneer” nameplate has been dropped, so all three-row models now carry the “Grand Wagoneer” badge. The initial, gas-powered models are expected to arrive in dealerships by late 2025, with the REEV version following in the second quarter of 2026.
New features and design
  • Unified badging: The “Jeep” badge now appears on the exterior, reinforcing its identity within the brand. Previously, the Wagoneer models were sold under a separate premium sub-brand.
  • Refreshed exterior: The front end has a more upright, squared-off grille with an illuminated seven-slot design and a full-width LED light bar. Chrome trim has been eliminated in favor of satin-silver and blacked-out accents, in a move Jeep designers call the “death of chrome”.
  • Expanded interior: Upgraded materials are available, with new color palettes such as Tupelo and Dark Ruby Red for the Summit trims. The top-tier Summit Reserve features authentic open-pore Dark Waxed Walnut wood trim.
  • Upgraded technology: An optional head-up display (HUD) with a larger field of view is available. Audiophiles can opt for McIntosh audio systems, including a 19-speaker system on mid-level trims and a 23-speaker system on the Summit Reserve.
Powertrain options
The 2026 Grand Wagoneer offers a choice of two advanced powertrains, with the range-extended electric option joining the lineup in 2026.
  • Hurricane inline-six (gas): Standard on all models at launch, this 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine produces 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
  • REEV (range-extended electric): Expected in mid-2026, this option pairs a 3.6-liter V6 engine that acts as a generator with a 92-kWh battery pack and dual electric motors.
    • Horsepower: The system delivers an impressive 647 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque.
    • Range: It is estimated to offer around 150 miles of all-electric range and over 500 miles of total range.
