The Icon Returns: Scout Motors Rocks the LA Auto Show

A legend has returned to the City of Angels. Zohari Cars is reporting live from the Los Angeles Auto Show, where Scout Motors has made its first auto show appearance in over 45 years. The brand rollout features the rugged Scout Traveler SUV and the Scout Terra truck, both reimagined for the modern era of off-grid exploration.

Credible Capability: Electric & Range-Extended

Scout isn't just bringing design; they're bringing serious hardware. Built on a body-on-frame chassis with a solid rear axle and mechanical lockers, these vehicles are designed to "soak up abuse." The headline? The Harvester™ range extender, which pushes total range to over 500 miles, while the fully electric versions target a robust 350 miles. With nearly 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque, these machines are ready for the PCH or the deep desert.

Max Range (Harvester) 500+ Miles
Peak Torque ~1,000 LB-FT
Towing (Terra) 10,000+ LBS
Starting Price Under $60,000

Tactile Innovation

The concepts showcased at LAAS 2025 highlight a "tactile user experience." The Traveler SUV debuted a stunning Pacific Mist exterior with a "Cabana Top" for open-air driving, while the Terra truck appeared in Silo Green, outfitted with 37-inch tires and heavy-duty ranch gear. Both models feature multifunctional spaces designed for connection—what Scout calls a "Connection Machine."

Stay tuned to Zohari Cars as we track Scout’s progress toward initial production in 2027 at their new South Carolina facility.
