A new era for Audi Sport has officially begun. Zohari Cars is diving into the details of the all-new Audi RS 5, the first high-performance plug-in hybrid (PHEV) to come out of Neckarsulm. Blending a twin-turbo V6 with cutting-edge electric assistance, the RS 5 represents a masterful synthesis of efficiency and raw, unadulterated speed.
The core of the RS 5 is a revised 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 paired with a powerful 130 kW electric motor, producing a staggering 470 kW (639 PS) and 825 Nm of torque. But the real headline is the quattro with Dynamic Torque Control. This world-first electromechanical torque vectoring system can shift power between the rear wheels in just 5 milliseconds, conducting an "orchestra of performance" that eliminates understeer and maximizes agility.
Visually, the RS 5 is unmistakable. It sits nine centimeters wider than the base A5, featuring flared fenders and a three-dimensional Singleframe honeycomb grille. The rear is dominated by a powerful diffuser and the signature oval RS sport exhaust tailpipes. Inside, the "driver-oriented command post" features the Audi MMI Panorama display and five unique interior designs, including a high-tech leather-free option made from recycled materials.
For those looking to push further, the Audi Sport package adds 21-inch diamond-cut wheels, ceramic brakes with bronze calipers, and the exclusive Serpentine green contrast stitching. Stay tuned to Zohari Cars as we track the RS 5's arrival in U.S. showrooms later this year.
